Today we want to show you another inexpensive party favor we came up with to match this Monogram theme: DIY Eye Masks – technically we spent $0 on this party favor because all the supplies came directly from sources of our home. This DIY was very simple to make and we added a monogram sticker for the final detail.
——————–
Supplies Needed:
Eye mask Template (I just traced an eye mask I had at home for this and added a 1/2″ extra all the way around to compensate for sewing it inside out).
Needle/thread/scissors
Elastic
Fun Scrap fabric for front and fuzzy fabric for back
Printed Monogram Sticker on Label paper
Directions:
1. Cut decorative fabric and fuzzy fabric based on your eye mask template.
2. Cut a piece of elastic that is the width of your mask plus 1/2″ longer on each side.
3. Place wrong sides of fabric together with the elastic laying flat across the middle (the elastic will extend outside of each side).
4. Sew 1/4″ in along the mask, leaving about a 1″ opening.
5. Turn mask inside out, so correct fabrics are now on the outside (all seams have been hidden inside the mask, once you do this).
6. Hand stitch it closed.
7. Add a monogram sticker from our Monogram Printable Collection
