Dinosaur Party

How does a Dinosaur Party?  When 2 year old Grayson’s mom Lauren is in charge it’s with bright colors, tasty dinosaur treats, and individual edible excavation kits.  After finding some adorable dinosaur tales  and Grayons love for dinosaurs she knew this was the perfect theme for his birthday party.  After doing a little dino digging, Lauren found our Dinosaur Excavation Printables to help highlight the theme and create the perfectly planned dinosaur party!

What we love about this Dinosaur Party:
– Edible excavation kits (see credits for supply list)
-Cleverly named food
Dinosaur tales for the little guests to wear
– Leaf garland used throughout the party

Lauren shares the details of Graysons party with us as well as where she got all the fabulous supplies from.  This is so helpful for those of you looking to throw a Dinosaur Party of your own because planning and shopping for the party has been done for you!

Grayson’s Dinosaur Shirt is from H&M, a steal at only $5!! My friend Ashley from Emmy Bugs personalized it with a 2 and his name written within the bottom part of the number.

Chalk Board was free hand with a chalk marker from Hobby Lobby

Dinosaur Excavation Kits:  Everything was edible since it was a 2 year old’s bday party and lots of young kids. I took candy melt and melted it into 2 different molds I bought. A t-rex and a triceratops.   I put them in miniature foil tins and then I covered them with graham cracker crumbs (found in wal-mart in the baking isle). Then threw in some choc-o-rocks from amazon. I cut strips of the patterned paper you provided and then added a popsicle stick, a magnifying glass , a plastic spoon and a paint brush along with the tags from Anders Ruff and tied it all up with chocolate & natural colored jute twine from Etsy shop I Luv Design.

Leaf Garland: bought 4 colors in bulk from Etsy shop MorrellDecor and I picked up a 5th color at a local party store.
